google email adds every person that i email or recieve email from to my contacts list. this is annoying. i want to turn off that feature but cannot find it in the settings. is there such a feature? thank you?

We use Google Apps for Domains for email hosting, and leverage the ‘email lists‘ (routings) feature quite a bit. We’ve built email lists with over 100 email recipients.
Is there a limit to the number of email recipients that can be attached to a single email list?
