How do I get on credit card mailing lists, to receive credit card offers?

My friend gets over 75 pre-approved credit card offers a month. How do I do the same?

  1. First, you need a credit history, so open a bank account. Get a few credit cards at local stores like Macy’s and Target.

Once you do that, the cards will come flying!!!

Beware, most cards will have a great introductory offer, but will ***** you in the end. There is a bank in willmington DE or something like that that really lets the BS fly! Gives you a seemingly good card but has like $30 late fees.

  2. If you really believe these “Pre-approve” credit card offers, good luck.

That “pre-approve” means that it is IF you meet their approval. Unless you already have a good credit rating, you can pretty much forget about getting a credit card.

Also, every time one of those companies check out your credit history, it is logged in as an entry in your credit background, which is not good for your credit rating.

Here are a couple of websites that may be helpful in your quest for “pre-approved” credit card offers.

Be sure to read the mighty fine print on the application, and be prepared to pay an anual service fee and probably an initial start-up fee.

  3. I think that you could just notify the bank/cc company of your interest, after all, I hear that they have even sent credit card offers to dogs, babies and dead people.
Getting the credit isn’t the problem, paying it off and not becoming a slave to it is! Been there, done that, and never again! Been three years debt FREE!!!
CASH is King, debt is dumb and the paid off home mortage is the NEW status symbol of wealth!!!!

  4. Instead of waiting for credit card offers from credit card companies, you may want to be more proactive. You can go online and compare many credit card offers and apply online. A good place to start is
